This itinerary is a 10-day tour of Sri Lanka that includes visits to several cultural and natural attractions. It begins with a day of relaxation in Colombo followed by a day of shopping and an Ayurveda massage. In the coming days,you will leave for Sigiriya, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage along the way. The next day, you will have the opportunity to take a hot air balloon ride and visit Minneriya National Park.

The sixth day includes a city tour of Kandy, and a visit to the Kandy Temple. The seventh day includes a scenic train ride to Hatton and a candlelit dinner.

On the eighth day, you will walk through the tea hills and explore a tea plantation. The ninth day takes you to Galle to explore the fort and take a boat ride along the Madhu River. The tenth day is reserved for relaxing on the beach, and on the final day, you will depart Sri Lanka.

Day 01Arrival / Colombo (check in to the hotel & relax)
Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be welcomed by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Colombo. After check-in, you can relax and unwind after a long flight.
Day 02 Shopping in Colombo / Ayurveda massage for the couple / Cycle ride in the night to explore the city
After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to go shopping in Colombo and indulge in some retail therapy. You can also enjoy a relaxing Ayurveda massage for the couple to rejuvenate your body and mind. Later in the evening, you can explore the city by taking a leisurely cycle ride.
Day 03Leave for Sigiriya en route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
On day 3, you will leave for Sigiriya and visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. Here, you can witness and even interact with baby elephants, as well as learn about the conservation efforts being taken to protect these majestic animals.
Day 04Hot Air Balloon ride in the morning (Seasonal) / Minneriya National Park in the evening
In the morning, you can enjoy a breathtaking hot air balloon ride over the beautiful landscapes of Sri Lanka (seasonal). Later in the evening, you will visit the Minneriya National Park to spot some wildlife and marvel at the natural beauty of the park.
Day 05Climb Sigiriya in the morning for the Sunrise / Leave for Kandy en route visit a Spice Garden and get a Head & shoulders massage / Kandy experience a cultural dance

On your sixth day in Sri Lanka, you can spend the day exploring the city of Kandy and its surroundings. Here is a suggested itinerary:

Kandy Temple: Start your day by visiting the famous Temple of the Tooth, which is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka. This temple houses a tooth relic of the Buddha and is considered a pilgrimage site for Buddhists around the world.

Kandy City Tour: After visiting the temple, you can take a city tour of Kandy and explore its many attractions. You can visit the Kandy Lake, which is a beautiful artificial lake in the center of the city. You can also explore the colorful Kandy market, where you can find a variety of souvenirs, spices, and local products.

Peradeniya Botanical Gardens: In the afternoon, you can visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, which is one of the largest and most beautiful botanical gardens in Asia. Here you can explore the different sections of the garden, including the orchid house, spice garden, and the giant Javan fig tree.

Shopping: After visiting the gardens, you can do some shopping in Kandy. The city is famous for its gems, including sapphires, rubies, and emeralds. You can also find a variety of traditional Sri Lankan handicrafts, such as batiks, wood carvings, and silk.
Day 07Take a train ride from Kandy to Hatton / Check in to the hotel & relax / Candle Lit Dinner
